I knew when we moved into a heritage listed house that we would face more challenges than average challenges around home maintenance, but I never realised just how much time I would spend looking for help getting our roof fixed. Old roofs are a little fussy, and when you also need to match the original materials and appearance, you start to face some real challenges fixing small leaks and rust spots. It's been a steep learning curve, but I finally feel I'm starting to get on top of how to maintain and repair vintage roofs.
